At this time, registration is for the full series to help us plan effectively and ensure proper staffing. If space remains closer to the start date, we may open spots for single-session registrations on specific dates.
If your participant requires one-on-one assistance to safely or fully engage, we kindly ask that you either stay with them or arrange for a helper to attend.
Our programs are also designed to foster independence and social connection. We typically maintain a participant-to-staff/volunteer ratio of about 1 to 5 or 6 and aim to provide as much support as possible during activities.
Yes. By registering, you acknowledge that photos or videos may be taken for promotional purposes. If you prefer not to have your participant included, please communicate this once registered.
While we do not provide medical care, our staff is trained in basic first aid. In case of an emergency, we will contact emergency services and the designated emergency contact.
Because Horizon Family Hub is 100% volunteer-run, we plan staffing, supplies, space, and other event resources based on the number of registered attendees. If you’re able to let us know as early as possible, it helps us adjust plans and make the best use of our resources.
